Room 22 has been learning about water streams and rivers.we leaned about the Mississippi yangtze Murry Nile Amazon Thames and Congo.I learned about the Mississippi other people did other things.We did posters for our homework and at home you had to find thins out about the river you were doing.I think the best one was Ben's one it was cool he did his of the Murry.Next term I want to do rainbows there cool I always draw them at my House have alot of colourings in my wardrobe.

On Friday the 30th of march. Netball had try outs.The Seniors were first doing netball training while we were just practising passes to each other. Then thay finished. So we played and practised.We only got to practise a little bit then we went back to class and did work.

Today oratia school had a wheels day people could bring wheels scooters scate boards elechric cars and stuff. The netball peole didint get to play with thers and had to play on them after school so i did. i played with savana alyssa and chealsea we played on our wheels and scooters.i had fun doing the netball!

Wheels day,

On Friday the 30th it was wheels day.Some people had scooters and skateboards. Some people had toy cars. I had a scooter. I went down the driveway on my scooter very fast. Some people went over the big ramp. There was also a sausage sizzle. It fun day. I loked jumping my scooter with my friends.

Pacific Art!!!!!!

 In room 22 we have been working on ART it  has been very fun. We are doing turtles  fish,   dolphins, and other sea creatures. How  we got the idea of doing pacific art  was because  of the     "Pacifica" festival  (which  had such amazing art.)  So a big thanks to the pacifica festival for inspiring room 22.
 How we are doing our art:   1st step: making our Borders, and Animals. 
And the next step we will be doing is: Mrs Laycock is going to make our paper size larger.
 The 3rd step is dying our paper.

THE SENIOR STUDENTS OF ORATIA SCHOOL HAD A SWIMMING COMPETITION ON THE THURSDAY 13TH OF MARCH.

IT WAS A HOT DAY AND EVERYONE WAS SHOUTING AND CHEARING  IT WAS  PREETY LOUD.

SOME PEOPLE DID THINGS LIKE BACK STROKE AND FREESTYLE I DID FANCIE DREESS I DRESSED AS A BUTTERFLY.

on tuesday the 13th of march the senoir students had a swimming sports day.

Their were lots of poeple at the school pool inclueding pearents,teachers and students.

On Thursday room22 went to the marae for a class trip.
The first thing we did was we walked to the marae from our school.
Then we got to the marae and we got welcomed by a karanga by a lady.

Room 22 and the hole senior school went to the hall on thursday and watched some films about water because oratia school was celabrating water week.

We watched some films about frogs,rivers and how to save water.

We also learned that tadpoles dont come from NewZealand.
NewZealand native frogs actually hatch from eggs and come out as nearlly full grone frogs.

SPORTS SUPERVISOR

Being a sports supervisor is a importent job its lots of fun because
you get to run around the school delivering orders.

I get to deliver the t-ballgear,swimming gear,and the orders the teachers make.

sometimes i miss out on a little bit of my lunch but thats what being a sports supervisor is all about
