Room 22's SMARTS!

Wow! What a great week of learning! We have conducted our own statistical investigations, written letters and discovered what smart we are:) We all took a survey to find out how we learn best. We have discovered that many of us are music smart meaning we like to learn with music, we can play music or like to sing and often havve songs going round in our heads. We have discovered that some people are self smart meaning they like to learn independently and some are people smart meaning they like to be part of a group and share their ideas. Many of us were also nature smart meaning we are really interested in finding out about the world around us, collecting things and looking after animals and birds. Some were body smart. These people like to build things, act, and play physical sports - they learn by doing. Some were picture smart -they like art and like to learn by putting things into pictures. Logic smart people love solving puzzles and working things out. They are deep thinkers. Last of all were the word smart people. They love playing with words, finding new words and writing & reading.
Through doing the survey we found out we can have multiple smarts, normally 1,2 or 3 smarts that we like best. By understanding our learning smarts, we can understand ourselves and others better. We can also pick tasks that help us learn. Ask us what smart we are!

Looking forward to next week
Mrs L.
